I have this code that I found here on this site but i dont know how to get it to be coumln specific and enter the info.Ĭode Private Sub Worksheet_SelectionChange(ByVal Target As Range) We always enter dates as tentitive dates if that date is a rock solid date we underline & bold it (but in the code above if the date doesnt change when you click on the cell to underline and bold it the code doesnt work) What I think I need is when someone clicks on a cell in column AF a message window pops up and if the cell has a date it ask is this date a close date or a tenitive date if it is a tenitive date then the date just gets entered in to the cell but if its a close date it blanks out the cell and enters it in to the cell but undelined and bold(that way i can use the above code to get the result i need) if there is no info in the cell it asks for a date again with the question is it a close date or tentive. A tab character looks like a small arrow. Select the tab characters that you want to underline. Go to Home > Show/Hide so that you can see the marks that indicate spaces and tab stops. In my post above we were working with 2 cells but i found away around that now it will just be 1 cell.
